IN CAR GPS & WIRELESS DATA TRANSFER

All FVS vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking systems. This enables us to locate the exact position of a technician and allocate work or emergency breakdown calls etc to the nearest appropriate technician.

In addition to this data can also be transmitted via GPRS from the vehicle to update the Central System which is fully managed and hosted at a Data centre providing the highest levels of redundency, reliability and security of customer records. Data will include details of testing, defects recorded, breakdown calls etc all within minutes of leaving site.

All this means FVS are very well positioned to provide our clients with fast accurate on site service including detailed electronic documentation in compliance with AS 1851 2005.
